Jamaica Perry

real estate guide

Once graduating college, I moved to northern New York hoping to get my dream job. After a short while, I realized that I wasn’t passionate about anything the area had to offer. That was when real estate came to mind. Throughout my life, I had always toyed with the idea of that career path, but there was always another opportunity that sent me in a different direction. I know now that the reason being a realtor always came up was because I was truly passionate about it, but too afraid to fail. When the chance to move to Bell County arose, my husband and I took the leap and bought a house sight unseen! I was nervous to be so far away from the east coast, but once I saw the tan and baby blue infrastructure, and the Texas stars all along the interstate, I knew that I was at the right place. I’m surrounded by hardworking people who inspire me to finally be creative and pursue my dreams!

What do you love about your job:

I know the feeling of wanting better for a community. It’s hard to see the place you love going downhill. To be able to not only help a family find a home, but to take part in making a community whole again, is truly a feeling I can’t even begin to explain. After buying my first home and going through the process first-hand, I can’t wait to guide others, showing them that it is possible to take the next step and become a homeowner!

Interesting Fact:

I once did a live audition for the Xfactor and got all 4 yeses from Simon, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, and Paulina Rubio!
